Beautiful red hellion? Dates? Excuse me while I pass on by pretending I did not overhear this pointedly idiotic message to yourself. Rather sounds like some sort o’ pillock talking to ‘emself to make ‘em feel better about their damned existence and fantasizin’ about some romantics in good ol’ London. Carry on, then.

Oh, well now, there’s a grouchy ol’ Londoner if I ever did see one. If I didn’t fluff up the elusive creature that is my ego, who would? I suppose I could hire someone, got enough men to lift up a building but none of them are of particular enjoyment. Say, you look like a fellow in need of a job. How ‘bout it, mister? Truth be told, you’re greatly mistaken. My ‘damned existence’ is paraded as a badge of honor and not a cross to bear. But hey, why not join in on the fatuous, romanticism - that which revolts you might actually tickle your fancy.

London, London, London! It’s dreary days like these that make a well tied noose the devilishly tempting apple of a girl’s eyes - there is, after all, a kernel of truth to that of idle hands and that beautiful, red hellion’s taken a shining to mine. Alas, I was never a very good girl during those woebegone scout days and seeing as my knot tying skills were damned from the start, I’ll have to settle on some light, city gallivanting. Lucky, lucky me. The weekend may have come to a brief end but that doesn’t mean we can’t have ourselves a little play date.

Ohh, Evie. Right in the feels, why don’t you. Christ.

Forever sobbing because of everyone’s sweetness.
Everyone just quit your perfection, it burns so good yall.

ooc: Oh I went through that too, because I’m horrible at themes and stuff. Welcome to Manic!

Thanks so much! Seriously, themes are my worst nightmare. I suppose my perfectionist nature is to blame there, haha. So glad to be here! I think I might throw away all inhibition and start a gif chat right now even with all these nerves. c:

Dolores “Lolita” Hayes | 22 | Bisexual | FC: Willa Holland | TAKEN

From where do you hail? “No ‘hello, hi, how are you?’ Let me tell you, my friend, false interest will get you everywhere in life.” Lo propped her bare legs on to the table, twirling a bright cherry lollipop between her fingers as a grin lingered across stained lips, “Oh right - South Carolina. Aside from the blatant racism and the ratio of people to Volvo Station Wagons being 4:3, it’s not that bad for most people. After all, every place has it’s certain charm. I, however, am unlike most people - but you probably figured that out by now, hmm?”

What’s your business in London? (Are you a student, a businessman, apart of a loving family). If a student, what do you study? If a businessman, what’s your trade? Clarify: “You, mister, are looking at the sole owner of one of the biggest businesses in London. Sure, given my age, looks, and - lets face the underlying sexism of any man made business - gender, I’m not exactly what you in particular might consider a ‘qualified candidate,’ but I assure you,” She let her legs drop back down the floor and leaned in closer, “I’m a lot meaner than I look.” Lo brought the lolly back to her lips, letting it hover above her smirk before placing it back in her mouth, “Only when warranted, of course. Unlike the others, and there are others, I value kindness and trust above all else.”

If a student, what do you study? If a businessman, what’s your trade? Clarify. Her attention was now listlessly focused on her nail buds, “You see, mister, you strike me as a bright young man - you do consider yourself bright, don’t you?” Lo turned back towards him, head cocked to the side and eyebrows knitted together, “Good, so as a bright young man you must know a girl shouldn’t give away all her beauty secrets at a drop of a hat.”

Got a separate day job? (This is a “pleasant” town, we’re all upstanding citizens here): Her legs made there way back up, soles pressed up against the edge of the table as her chair balanced on two legs, “Separate job? Why would I need that for?” A soft chuckle made it’s way passed her lips before she brought a hand up and through her hair. “I’ve got my hands full enough as it is - does that make a bad citizen?” Lo pouted, scratching the top of her head.

Give us 5 words to describe yourself. Go on, don’t be shy: “Five words…five words,” She pondered the task for a few moments. The sound of the lollipop clacked against her teeth as her tongue pushed it from side to side, filling the silence of the room. “Hmph, let’s go with: fierce, charming, intelligent, addictive, and nancy sinatra-esque - what? That last one counts.”

Pick 2 of the strongest words most pertinent to your personality, and give us a 1-2 paragraph (or more) brief on who you are (Don’t give too much away now, we like mystery): “For a kid who insists on mystery, you sure are a nosy bugger. Alright then, I’ll choose fierce and charming. It takes a lot of fierceness to do what I do, not allowing certain things to get to you even though it would most people. It’s also the fierceness for life - raising hell, living fast and dying young. Charming, well, I don’t think I need to explain that to you.”

What’s your family like? Do you enjoy their company? Lo’s face lit up, a grin beaming across her face. “Oh gosh, well Mom’s a writer. She’s always been nose first in her work and we don’t get along at all, but I love her to bits. Jim, that’s Mom’s boyfriend. He’s 18 years her junior, can you believe that?” She crossed her arms and shook her head, grin dwindling down to a small smile. “Then there’s Ash, my brother. He was a great guy. You’d like him a lot - everyone did.”

Do you reside with your family now? If so, list for us your parents, siblings, and extended families names: “Nah, I left a long time ago and never looked back. I don’t even know if their still in South Carolina anymore.” She leaned in once more, propping her chin on the palm of her hand and heaving out an long and exasperated sigh. “Like I said, it’s just Mom and Jim now.”

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Lo drummed her fingers on top of the table with another sigh, “Fucking, sleeping, watching T.V, fucking, making scrap books, baking cookies - I don’t know, honestly. I do a lot of philanthropy, believe it or not, I like giving back to the community.”

Drugs, alcohol, sex? “The first two are strictly off limits, but the last I’ll welcome with open arms.”

Anything else you’d like to share? Lo smiled, tapping her foot and leaning her head onto the palm of her hand. “Nope, I’m worn out.” She smacked her lips together and sighed, eyes lingering towards the clock. “What about you?”

Desired ships: She grabbed the man’s hand and placed the sticky lolly in it before making her way towards the door with a wide grin, “Any ship that can take me to paradise, mister.”
